Maruti Suzuki Globally Unveils the All-New Jimny 5-Door and Fronx
Maruti Suzuki India Limited, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in India, announced the global unveiling of two all-new SUV models — the all-new Jimny 5-Door and the all-new Fronx — at Auto Expo 2023, held in the suburbs of Delhi, India, starting January 11, 2023*.
Maruti Suzuki will begin sales of the all-new Jimny 5-Door and all-new Fronx during fiscal year 2023.
With the addition of these two new models, Maruti Suzuki's SUV lineup will expand to four models, giving customers a wider range of choices in India's rapidly growing SUV segment.
The Jimny 5-Door and Fronx are also scheduled to be exported to international markets, including Africa and Latin America.

An iconic off-roader, now with five doors
Production and sales of the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny began in Japan in 2018, followed by expansion into markets including Europe and Oceania, where it was well received by customers around the world.
In November 2020, production of the Jimny began in India exclusively for export to markets including Latin America and Africa.
The fourth-generation Jimny is now being introduced to the Indian domestic market for the first time as the all-new Jimny 5-Door.
The new configuration features newly added rear doors, along with specially designed rear seats and interior finishes optimized for the rear passenger area.
The Jimny 5-Door delivers the authentic off-road driving performance expected from the Jimny name, similar to the three-door version, while offering greater practicality and comfort to appeal to a broader range of customers.
